Veyil director fights with Arun Pandiyan

There is trouble brewing in the Angadi Theru camp, between director Vasanthabalan and Executive Producer of Ayngaran International Arun Pandiyan. The reason? Arun has only made 100 prints of the movie Angadi Theru, which was scheduled for Pongal release.A furious Vasanthabalan lashed out at the producers stating that even if the prints were to be sent for each constituency in Tamil Nadu, a total of 234 prints would be needed. “I’m not a first time director and I’m humiliated by this action of Arun Pandiyan,” Balan was quoted as saying.Last heard, the producers have decided to increase the number of prints from 100 to 200. However, it’s still not clear whether the movie would be released for Pongal, as planned earlier.
