Sci-fi action spectacle "Avatar" pushed past the record for the global box office record set in 1997 by "Titanic.", distributor 20th Century Fox confirmed.Avatar is directed by James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Stephen Lang and Matt Gerald.The studio announced that Sci-fi epic “Avatar” surpassed Titanic's USD 1.843-billion record Monday to become the highest grossing film of all time.
