The new 3G hitch

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which was supposed to issue ‘notice inviting tender’ failed to do so on Monday.January 11, 2010 was fixed as the date to issue the notice but there was no announcement regarding this issue from the DoT.For now only three private operators will be given 3G spectrum in every circle apart from a single slot for BSNL or MTNL stated a DoT draft.The draft also mentioned that the payment for the 3G spectrum must be made by the telecom companies within 15 days of auction.
