The State Information and Tourism Minister Geeta Reddy, after a meeting with Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, stated that there is some good news on Telangana if the ministers withdraw their resignations.Geeta Reddy said, “Pranab Mukherjee asked us to withdraw our resignations and assured us that there will be good news on Telangana issue in the near future.A 13-minister delegation went to Delhi to meet the finance minister to clarify on the delay of formation of the Telangana state.Reddy added that the aim of the ministers was the formation of a separate state and not posts or power.Meanwhile, the Water Resource Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah asked the Union Finance Minister to clarify on what the Union Home Minister stated on December 23, when he said that there was no consensus for Telangana.
