Grandfather Clocks
Guys, found a site which is related with the grandfather clocks. They have their own blog too, where you can find various information about clocks and brands they offer.Since I this liked Howard Miller’s clock I searched for more information about it. I couldn’t find anything specific on this alarm clock, but I found history of Howard Miller Brand and it was really interesting. This brand has a history of 70 years and product range with prices from $5 up to $15,000. I would not know whether either one of my grandparents' clocks were part of the howard miller clocks, Ridgeway clocks, Kieninger clocks or Hermle clocks. What I do remember was that the wall clock had weight that needed to be pulled up and the mantel clock had to be wound up every day. It sure was quite different from all the atomic clocks which can be purchased these days.I have recently read this interesting article about Howard Miller clocks and I felt that I should also get some space in my house so that I can place one of these amazing clocks in my main wall. Moreover, after having a look at the website to which I have linked in the first paragraph, I realized that Howard Miller’s clocks are affordable if you buy them on a dedicated online store such as that one.
